Business Development Manager

Qualified business development specialist to extend our reach through expert discovery and exploration of new and untapped business opportunities and relationships.

Our ideal candidate will be trusted to dive right in, take the lead, use initiative, and help build our client roster across client types and asset ownership levels. Highly skilled at sales and business operations, this person will join and inspire a team of like-minded go-getters to achieve our unique service-centric vision.

Duties + Responsibilities
  • Manage both existing sales pipeline and the development of new business opportunities
  • Take a lead role in developing new-business proposals and presentations that create and nurture opportunities and partnerships
  • Identify trends and customer needs, building a sales pipeline for short/medium/long term in accordance with targets
  • Assist in the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies, and delegate tasks to achieve strategic goals
  • Motivate the team, track performance, and report metrics

Financial Advisor

Client-savvy specialist with experience assisting individuals with their investment strategies through assessment of clients’ financial situations, short-term and long-term goals.

Must have a deep understanding of investment markets and a knack for identifying the best stocks, bonds, or funds. Expert knowledge of market performance and investment strategies, as well as great people skills are additional must-haves.

Financial Coach

Empathetic people-person who will assess clients’ financial health through one-on-one coaching and then develop a tailored set of recommendations to help clients improve their financial position and pursue their goals. Will leverage multiple communication channels— video conferencing, phone, SMS, email—to engage our clients and provide follow-up services. In addition to individualized coaching sessions, may also deliver financial capability courses for groups.

Requires excellent judgment and ability to exercise professional discretion to accurately assess each client’s unique situation and effectively develop personalized plans of action. These plans include concrete recommendations for debt reduction, credit improvement, money management, use of financial services, asset protection and the pursuit of short- and long-term goals.

Duties + Responsibilities
  • Work directly with clients to provide high-quality financial coaching via individualized counseling
  • Provide ongoing support and continue to actively engage clients to promote financial health
  • Document services and gather session data for program reporting and evaluation
  • Achieve program goals for client impact and service outputs, taking initiative with client outreach
  • Deliver presentations on personal finance topics and our services
  • Participate in regular team meetings and continued skill-building training sessions

Financial Para-planner

Ambitious entry level financial planner ready to launch and grow a career in financial planning. Strong desire to work in a team-oriented independent firm; will have involvement in all aspects of the business, learning and shaping the way we care for our clients; and will gain valuable experience for developing a financial planning career.

This individual will work with experienced financial planners, providing financial planning and investment advisory support.

Portfolio Manager

Financial services wizard with proven ability to study and analyze the daily state of the stock market, determine the best investment strategies and opportunities, manages client retirement and investment funds, and address questions and concerns of investment clients.

Responsible for analyzing and overseeing client investment portfolios and advising clients on the best course of action with regard to their investments, researching stock market trends, and ensuring that assets are maintained or improved.

Duties + Responsibilities
  • Monitor client investments
  • Maintain records and files of all portfolio activity
  • Keep client up to date on the state of their portfolios
  • Study stock market trends on a daily basis
  • Analyze Roth IRAs, hedge funds, 401(k)s, stock options, and other investment opportunities

Senior Wealth Advisor

Proven leader who will serve as the principal contact with clients. This individual will have a broad and deep understanding of sophisticated wealth management practices and investment strategies.

The ideal candidate will have extensive impact/mission related investing expertise. The Senior Wealth Advisor is responsible for maintaining the ongoing relationships and leading in the development of new client relationships.

Duties + Responsibilities

Managing the overall delivery of the wealth management services to the client. This will involve maintaining regular communication with the client, and working in consultation with the client’s other advisors. In addition, this position will oversee a group of client support personnel, including analysts and administrators in delivering investment management, tax, financial planning, and other pertinent financial services.

Client Service

  • Extensive communication with clients and their advisors
  • Ability to discuss investment performance, economic and market trends
  • Presentations to clients on financial and tax planning options and opportunities
  • Direct consultation with attorneys, accountants and other advisors on financial, tax and estate planning
  • Client meeting planning, facilitation and presentation
  • Develop and/or deliver private wealth education sessions to clients and staff

Financial Planning

  • Develop knowledge of client’s entire financial and family situation and be able to structure a goals based investment and financial plan
  • Ability to discuss estate planning and work with internal and external resources to meet estate planning goals of the client
  • Understand and coordinate income tax planning and work closely with client tax advisors
  • Evaluate and discuss options to meet client philanthropic goals
  • Seek to establish a level of trust and confidence with the client so that any financial issue can be addressed and solutions offered

Investment Management

  • Ability to establish client investment objectives including risk tolerance, asset allocation, and cash requirements
  • Implementation of investment plans
  • Translate investment policy to individual investment objectives
  • Monitor manager performance versus benchmarks and develops insights for clients regarding key contributors and detractors
  • Monitor asset allocation on a quarterly basis relative to policy and goals; evaluates need to rebalance

Required Education + Certifications
  • Master’s degree or equivalent in a related field (Investments, Finance, Law, Accounting/Tax, Economics, Business Administration)
  • 15 years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • At least one CFP, CPA, CFA or CIMA certification; extensive knowledge of certifications not earned
  • Extensive leadership, communication and coaching classes (Coaching for Results, Meeting Facilitation, Leadership 360, etc.)

Financial Services Internship

The internship is designed to familiarize interested individuals and expand their knowledge regarding portfolio analysis, compliance and the operations of an independent financial services firm specializing in wealth management across a broad spectrum of client income levels and asset ownership.

This position is perfect for a student with a major in Finance or Economics, who is looking to have great experience in a welcoming, professional environment.
